In loving memory of Van Mealy Touch 1950-2018

This past week, the Cambodian American community lost one of its founding members, Mr. Van Mealy Touch.  Mr. Touch was a survivor of the Killing Fields. He was known for culinary skills and business in French Continental Cuisine and for authoring books on Cambodian history and culture. Mr. Touch is survived by his wife, Ms. Sivheng Ung, a dedicated and resilient CACO Board Member; and son, Mr. David Touch.

Past Governors Proclamations

The CACO mission of uniting, preserving, and empowering our local communities is a commitment to diversity.

We are gracious and in gratitude to the support of our local leadership and those who continue to commit the mission of creating an inclusive community in Oregon. These proclamations from the past are a part of this greater vision of an Oregon made for everyone.

Finding Immigration Legal Services

Immigration legal services can be hard to access and difficult to find in time of need. In order to inform the community, we would like to remind folks that it is important to seek out qualified Immigration Attorneys for any questions regarding legal concerns.
